Markets are at all time highs... they are delusional
we’re losing:
- ~30% of fertilizers
- ~20% of LNG
- ~10% of oil
- ~30% of helium
These aren’t isolated commodities.... they sit at the core of entire production chains:
- Petrochemicals -> fertilizer -> food production
- Petrochemicals -> sulfur -> mining (copper, uranium, nickel)
- Petrochemicals -> plastics -> cars, electronics
- Petrochemicals -> drugs, rubber, textiles
- Helium -> semiconductors / AI chips
- Gas -> power generation
- Diesel -> transportation
So this isn’t just an energy problem... it’s a full-spectrum supply shock hitting food, industry, tech, transportation and power at the same time.
Our world doesn't function without Hormuz supplies.
And there is no policy tool that can replace missing physical supply.
$100 oil is back.
Brent crude oil prices are now officially trading above $100/barrel up +42% in 20 days.
Inflation expectations and interest rates are rising sharply again.
🚨 ALERT 🇷🇺🇨🇳🇮🇷
Iran has made a major announcement.
Russia, China, and Iran are reportedly challenging the dominance of the U.S. dollar in global energy trade.
According to the claim, every barrel of oil passing through the Strait of Hormuz would be payable only in the Chinese Yuan.
Analysts warn that if such a shift were to occur on a large scale, it could have significant implications for the U.S. economy and the global financial system.
BREAKING: Iran has directly rejected any renewed U.S.-backed ceasefire initiative mediated by Qatar or any other party, with Iran's Foreign Minister Araghchi saying Tehran will take no meaningful diplomatic steps until Washington changes its approach and respects Iran's interests.
"The problem is America's approach, which is illogical, excessive, and domineering," Araghchi said in an interview with Iranian state TV. "Their domineering nature has been met with our firm responses, and until they understand that there is no way forward except respecting the Iranian nation, there is no opportunity for us to take any meaningful steps."
🇸🇦 Aramco is already rerouting.
The company is offering extra crude cargoes from Sidi Kerir, its Mediterranean port in Egypt, to bypass Bab al-Mandeb entirely.
This follows the first enforcement action under the new blockade, a drone and missile strike on 2 Saudi oil tankers.
The market thesis is no longer theoretical.
Riyadh itself is now hedging the exact route in question.
