These days libraries are busy places with a lot going on. Today we used what they are for: returned borrowed books, returned books and read a book. Good times.
Another milestone: I took the youngest for a different kind of walk. We walked the walk to his future school. Come August, he will be walking that same short trip twice a day, five times a week.
I often bake when it rains, but I didn't feel like baking today. I have been in so much pain lately, that doing what I love just didn't make sense. I need to be fully me to bake; so many things go wrong if I am distracted.
Seriously, I thought that I took plum/mulledwine/date cake from the freezer, so you can imagine my amazement when it turned out to be dark bread. Which none of us recalls ever baking/buying/receiving as a gift. Weird.
It has been raining most of the day. I got household chores done, which was great, and had some upset kids to comfort. Head has been dreadful, which is nothing new. But finding dark bread from the freezer was.
One store brought a lot of #Minecraft stuff today, so we went, and came back with a lot of them. Two Minecraft fans in the house, so that tends to happen. Clothes, school supplies, a Creeper and an Enderman toy.
School supplies have begun to wander to our house again. Less than a month to go, so it makes sense. Sort of. Pencils, pencil case, notebooks. One kid might need a new backpack, too.
