I'm ALMOST happy with it. Like almost. The glowy cables in the background LEAD to something interactable. What do you think it does?

@raymondafcripps Looks cool. I'm sure you prolly thought of this already but I do think it'd help the player if the guide shadow underneath her would shrink and grow based on height.
Its coming along. That brick texture in the background is edited from a photo I took at a Pizzeria in Los Angeles.

So like: pipes? Also I finally figured out the exact position/fov the camera is in-engine and how to translate to blender. It was a bit tricky, but this is the exact 1 to 1 camera.
#indiedev#indiegame#gamedev#3D Some progress. I wanted to make my own brick material too. I was using a premade one before. I made it from a photo of a brick wall at a Pizzeria I visited.
An update, you can see a certain character's uses this place as their personal playground lol. This is only a render tho, not in-game but I build the stage here and export it to GameMaker.

Getting a diagonal pattern to tile is trickier than I thought, so I pulled a trick. Made the pattern straight which is easy. slapped it onto a plane, rotated the UV 45 degrees then baked it like that lol. #gamedev#3D#indiegame
