Hey everyone! I'm happy to share with y'all that I'll be playing the title role in Shrek the Musical here in Berlin on 24-26 November! I hope y'all can come and see it (it's in English, too). We've been rehearsing hard to give y'all a great show!

Submitted my documents for naturalisation. Let's see how long it takes. Was told that it'd be more than a year, which is what I was expecting anyway.

Collecting paperwork is a pain

If you're not the sort of person who waits until Eurovision to hear the entries, you're going to want to listen to this one, trust me. It's like Poe-try.

If you're in Berlin, come see Spring Fling: A Walk Down Broadway 2023! I'll be singing some musical theatre songs alongside some very talented people from Musical Theater Society Berlin! Shows are on 23 and 24 March 2023!

Had a typo in a commit message and wrote "troublehooting". I feel like this word should now have a special meaning but not sure *what*.

I've signed up for the citizenship exam!

My Niederlassungserlaubnis Aufenthaltstitel arrived today! 🥳

So with the submission of documents scheduled in March, and with the process currently taking at least a year, I am hoping that everything is settled and completed by March or April 2024!

[Ren Robles 🏳️‍🌈 @hyperren]

Today was my initial appointment for the naturalisation process. It was a LOT more painless than I anticipated, and now I have two months to collect all my documents for my in-person appointment in March.

The letter with the PIN to activate the card arrived yesterday, roughly a month after my PR was approved... so I guess one more month til I actually get the card in the mail!

My permanent residency has been approved!

Update: It took a month (31 days, 23 business days) but I got a response to my e-mail and it's an invitation for an in-person appointment! Hopefully on Tuesday I'll have my application approved!

[Ren Robles 🏳️‍🌈 @hyperren]

Submitted my application for permanent residency via e-mail just now!

I would like to not dream about work and work-adjacent things (like programming, in general) on my days off, thanks

Working on the train. I feel like a proper consultant now.
