Odisha's RE corridor is forming.
L&T and NAN have announced NdFeB permanent magnets projects. No clarity on tech partners. Toyotsu, BARC, DMRL?
NAN could rely on specialist partners for jet milling + vacuum sintering to achieve traction-motor magnets. Germany? Hosokawa, paired with PVA TePla or ALD.
**IREL can support only ~5 units, and 2 states already fielding 3 contenders, incl. Proterial. Others, where you at?
@manas_muduli Lab-grown diamonds boost state economies by driving billions in industrial investments, expanding export capabilities, and creating thousands of high-skilled manufacturing and artisanal jobs. So a win win situation for the state.
Recently a lot of Lab grown diamond manufacturing projects are coming to Odisha. Lab-grown diamonds boost state economies by driving billions in industrial investments, expanding export capabilities, and creating thousands of high-skilled manufacturing and artisanal jobs. 👍🏼
Kapilendra Deva was undoubtedly one of the strongest kings of his time. At his peak, he expanded his kingdom from modern-day northern Jharkhand and the Hooghly River in Bengal all the way to Rameshwaram in the south, including parts of present-day MH, CG, TG, KA, AP, and TN
The reason Gen Z travels even when money is tight isn’t escapism — it’s that travel builds real connection in a way nothing else in their lives reliably does anymore. So they prioritise the trip over the savings goal.
My compliments to the Cuisine India Society for doing research on regional Indian cuisine and presenting them in a highly contemporary manner. Today’s Odia cuisine was heavenly and mouth watering in its taste and flavour and mentally elevating in its presentation. Congratulations @AnilRajputsays and Chef Manisha Bhasin.
As I was in Krushnaprasad block of Puri this week on a work assignment, I decided to spend my weekend in Brahmapur, being the closest major city. As a first-time visitor, I was incredibly impressed by what I found.
Brahmapur has all the right ingredients to become a major mega-city in the region. If developed properly following the successful blueprints of cities like Bhubaneswar or Vizag, it could easily become the primary economic and cultural hub for both Southern Odisha and Northern AP
India enters the big 5 in manufacturing toppling South Korea. At current growth rates, even considering rupee depreciation, India will displace Japan to become the world's third largest manufacturer (> $1 trillion) by 2029.
Also,
1960: $3 billion -> 2015: $328 billion
2015: $328 billion -> 2025: $781 billion
So India has added as much in manufacturing in the last 10 years as it added in the last 70+ years.
Took an evening drive from the Puri countryside in Krushnaprasad to Brahmapur, Ganjam. What a beautiful sight. Mountains, villages, the sunset, and Chilika lake right by our side. Odisha is a total hidden gem and so underrated.
Every modern developed state (post-industrialization) has focused on this, yet sadly, we have not done so on the scale we should have. This is a critical requirement for becoming a developed, strong, and disciplined society.
As a nation, we do not sufficiently prioritize preservation or the role of history and archives in personality development and nation-building. These are foundational tasks that should be prioritized.
On this #WorldEnvironmentDay, meet Bapi Gochhayat, a one-man army keeping Paradip Beach clean.
Every day at 6 AM, he cycles to the beach with just gloves, a broom, and a bag, spending two hours cleaning the coastline before heading to work.
Since 2022, he has removed over 6 tonnes of plastic waste from the beach.
A true environmental warrior. Odisha is proud of its unsung heroes.
Perfect expose of Rahul Gandhi’s agenda on the Great Nicobar Project.
In the name of protecting tribal identity, they want to keep tribals forever backward and deprived of resources. Why?
Reclamation of history and preservation of archival is as imp as any other aspects when it comes to exert strategic hagemony. Good to see govt using words that have less resemblance with modern day geo-pol vocab. Time to reclaim our great Civilizational history beyond borders.
One of the most powerful symbols of India’s unbroken civilizational continuity!
Discovered at Mohenjo-daro in undivided India this steatite seal, about 4,300-year-old, shows a seated figure in yogic posture (widely seen as Shiva-Pashupati) seated in Mulabandhasana, surrounded by animals.
While ancient sites may lie across modern borders, India remains the living custodian of this heritage. The yogic posture, Shaivite symbolism, and spiritual ethos seen in the Pashupati Seal continue to thrive in India’s temples, daily worship of Shiva, yogic traditions, and cultural life even today.
From the Vedic period to contemporary Bharat, this civilizational thread has remained alive and unbroken — deeply embedded in our philosophy, rituals, and collective consciousness.🇮🇳
