That’s a ridiculous statement, the standard deduction was doubled in the tax cuts, and the wealthiest Americans don’t use the standard deduction. Tax % was cut across the board, for all income levels, the removal of the SALT deduction disproportionately affects the wealthy (rightly so) because most average Americans take the standard deduction. Here are the rates letting the cuts expire go back to. 15%$9,525–$38,70012%$9,525–$38,700
25%$38,700–$93,70022%$38,700–$82,500
So how does it worsen the outcome for people with less money when if the tax cuts expire the rate rises 3%? I agree with Rand Paul spending needs to go way down but this isn’t the way to do it. If youre going to claim everything will be worse for people bring some facts to the debate not just empty words
