During the regular briefing, Minister @nsanzimanasabin , together with the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, updated the diplomatic corps and development partners on Rwanda’s Ebola preparedness.

He emphasized that Rwanda has no Ebola cases, with no cases in areas bordering Rwanda, indicating a low risk. Efforts remain focused on supporting control of the outbreak at its epicenter, while prevention measures will continue to be progressively adapted based on evidence.

The Minister concluded by expressing appreciation for the continued collaboration and partnership in safeguarding public health.

RBC is contributing to the 2026 #ScienceOfDefeatingMalaria Leadership Course, a flagship program developing the next generation of #malaria leaders across #Africa.

Following #Rwanda's successful hosting of the course in Kigali last year, as Faculty-in-Residence, DG @CMuvunyi led sessions for this year's cohort on malaria case management amid emerging resistance, genomic approaches to #malariaelimination, and protecting malaria gains during public health emergencies.
