This has been a long time coming and I'm excited that it's now public. @heroku just launched an open source credits program starting in March. Open Source maintainers can spend more time on open source and less on infra. Please come apply! https://t.co/CGmHMfme4s
@heroku I've worked with open source projects during my tenure to get them these kind of credits. I'm glad that it's now a formal program and not something to fight for behind the scenes. I feel blessed by the current Heroku leadership believing in Open Source @screaminggeek@hyppurple
I keep getting pings about whether we have a Heroku student program. It went live over a month ago. Another tip of the hat to the nice folks at Github, of course.

@colmmacc This pretty directly from the Jeff Bezos philosophy on six-pagers.... you have to do the reading together so everyone has fresh and consistent baseline for discussion. A good doc (tip of the hat to my prior boss @mndoci) creates the right discussion. No meeting, no discussion.
It's been 15 years and the industry still couldn't find consensus on the most feasible approach to migrate large companies entirely to cloud. Trying to lift & shift while simultaneously demanding significant rearchitectural work is not an easy path.
