"i'm sad shell of a woman and i've got maggots for brains"
the real peak girlhood experience, except for the fact that liv is hella straight unlike me, the core of this album is being so in love is spectacular 🐞

you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, 2026
looking back at the past can ease up your present, peeking for future is not easy. . . so what to do? where to go? that's the question.
live in the present.

“don't come out!”
the highs and lows of pursuing your dreams, regaining your burned down passion, and going limitless. coming out to your zone and being vulnerable in many ways is how life treats you, no matter where, when, and how.

if this anime will teach us a lesson, it would be this: sky's the limit — not a new gentle reminder, but doing things limitless is the best way to celebrate and atleast appreciate life. fujino & kyomoto reminded me of life and after life, there's huge a difference but you lived.

so spectacular yet so torturing. call me a basic listener but this album is totally hitting even if you are currently "in love" or not. i don't know, olivie been doing this songwriting just to capture my inner drama as a girl who's searching for life —
"call me lady bird"
i first watched this in 2019, and even when i rewatched it, i still couldn’t quite get the point of the plot. but after realizing i’m actually experiencing it myself...

it hits differently. this film reminds me of my mom, and the kind of family dynamic we shared at home—blunt, yet full of color. i just miss when she used to lift me up and tell me, "you’re my baby." i can’t feel her that way anymore. but i do really, deeply love her.
green, blue, and orange—each color signifies a version of love. and no matter the shade, it’s always us against reality. because in the end, it’s reality that keeps us alive. a
“meet me in montauk”
i watched this film last year. i wasn’t exactly amazed—i was confused. i never really analyzed it that deeply—maybe i wasn’t ready to.

the eternal sunshine of the spotless mind (2004) dir. michel grondy
maybe i wasn’t deep enough yet to fully understand that love isn’t just about passion or perfection. love is knowing your partner—even in their flaws. it’s the connection you build together at the core of reality. and it’s not love that revives that connection, but acceptance.
