Trossard's breakthrough season for Genk was in 18/19 - he had 22 goals and 11 assists in all competitions, a goal or assist every 114 mins.
Tzolis has 51 goal contributions this season in all competitions, a goal or assist ever 86 mins.
Insane numbers....
@drewfanacc Eze won’t stop it but a LW signing who’s not a runner defo will.. we already have Merino Eze Ø Havertz as AM options and none of them is close to leaving atm
This is ASS, only impressive action in the whole fucking comp is how he scored an own goal dpmo man I dare us to sell one of our LWs for this meady guy
Christos Tzolis would be such a smart signing for Arsenal.
24 years of age with 51 goal contributions in 52 games last season for Club Brugge. Such a tenacious, two-way threat; quality ball-striker and such a brilliant passing empathy in the final third.
@drewfanacc We’re not gonna have 3 10s, Rogers can only be considered as a 10 if we move Eze to LW (won’t happen if we sign this Tzolis guy) if we sign him it’s basically either Rogers or Barcola for that other LW spot
@drewfanacc Replacing Trossard with someone other than Rogers feels underwhelming and he can’t replace what Nelli brings I just can’t see the point of this it’s such a sideways move idk
Arsenal are in direct contact with Club Brugge to sign Christos Tzolis. As I reported earlier, player is very keen but the fee will be key. Data team at Arsenal highly impressed for a while with Greek winger.
Market opportunity which wont affect main target or Monga deal.
🚨🔴⚪️ Arsenal make initial approach for Christos Tzolis as potential new winger with contacts started on player/club side.
He’s among options considered but not only one, Jeremy Monga remains separate deal for future and advancing.
Rogers/Barcola & more remain top targets.
🚨 Arsenal exploring deal to sign Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge. 24yo left-sided winger expected to be gettable for ~€40m. Move for Greece international does not impact #AFC interest in Morgan Rogers or other options to strengthen attack @TheAthleticFC https://t.co/lBe1BINfU2
More of an informed opinion rather than a report but I imagine Ethan Nwaneri’s club next season will either be Chelsea or Borussia Dortmund. Both clubs keen.
