Rutuja was preparing for Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) Drug Inspector exam. Believing she couldn't pass on her own, her father bribed MPSC officials to leak the paper.
Two days before the exam, Rutuja shared the paper with her boyfriend, Gaurav, whose brother was also preparing for the same exam. Gaurav passed the paper on to his brother.
After the exam was conducted, but before the results were declared, Rutuja and Gaurav broke up. Gaurav believed she abandoned him because she was on the verge of becoming a govt officer. When the results were finally announced, Rutuja secured State Rank 7. She was featured in local media as a high achiever, and her coaching institute proudly shared her interviews (now deleted) across social media.
Driven by jealousy, Gaurav reported the paper leak to the MPSC, exposing the entire scandal. The police subsequently arrested an MPSC Undersecretary and two Assistant Section Officers involved in the leak. Gaurav was also arrested for accepting and forwarding the paper to his brother (who ended up failing anyway), making him a co-conspirator. Rutuja has since been served a notice.
The exam, which happened in March this year, now stands cancelled.
I hope Ashwin will get the respect he deserves in coming future. These jain vain, muthal kotian sundar lots can't match his class, the entire home dominance legacy was built around him. Better test batter than dhoni on top of that, not to forget

South exhibitors need to wake up to #HanumanAnsh.
This is not a normal βsmall Hindi filmβ story anymore. This is one of the rare audience-led box office turnarounds we have seen in recent times.
The film opened quietly, almost disappeared in Week 2, and then came back purely on WOM, faith audience, family viewing and ground-level theatre connect. Sacnilk has reported βΉ4.67 cr India NBOC on Day 19 alone, taking the film past βΉ10.60 cr India net. Trend also shows a massive Week 3 weekend jump, which clearly tells us one thing: audiences have discovered the film late, but they are now backing it strongly.
My only question to South India exhibitors is simple: why is #HanumanAnsh still not getting proper showcasing in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala?
This is a film rooted in Lord Hanuman bhakti, Sant Parampara and the spiritual journey of Neem Karoli Baba. The South has one of the deepest Hanuman devotee bases in the country, from Karnataka and Andhra/Telangana to Tamil Nadu and Kerala and major cities like Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Vijayawada, Vizag, Kochi and Trivandrum have strong spiritual, family and seeker audiences.
If a film can grow like this with limited showcasing, imagine what happens when South markets open properly.
My honest trade reading: with strong showcasing in South India, #HanumanAnsh can start delivering serious daily numbers. If the current WOM continues and exhibitors support it with enough shows, this has a real shot at a βΉ50 cr journey β and in the best-case scenario, even βΉ100 cr cannot be ruled out.
Faith-led cinema has surprised us before with #Karthikeya2, #HanuMan, #Kantara and #MahavatarNarsimha. #HanumanAnsh has now joined that conversation.
Request to exhibitors and cinemas across South India: give this film the shows it deserves. The audience is already speaking. Now the showcasing needs to respond.

Namo Namah
In the holy month of Shravana, we have one of the most important and holy functions of the year. We currently know only just the surface of the ritual but the real tattva is deep rooted in Dharma Shastra as propagated by our Rishis. We think that Upakarma or Avani Avittam is just a Yagnopaveeta / Poonal / Janeu /Munj /Jandhyam /Jannivara /Poita (Sacred thread) changing ceremony which occurs once a year but it is a lot more than just that.
The word Upakarma is derived from the root, Upakaranam or the new start /new beginning / commencement. In the ancient days, this was the first day for young boys, who have undergone Upanayana ceremony, to join the Guru at his Gurukulam. It was not only limited to them, but for the rest of all the people, it was the day to start learning/ teaching Vedas once again freshly.
In the ancient times, the Veda teaching method was such that Veda mantras were taught only for 6 months (Aug-Feb) and another 6 months Vedas were not taught. So this was the 1st day to start (for new boys) or restart (for the seniors) the Veda Adhyeyana (learning of Vedas) again. The total basic Vedic education was 12 years, which in the current world is being done in 6 years. This is because, in our current times, the rule of stopping to teach Vedas for 6 months (Feb β Aug) is not followed anymore.
What about adults/seniors/elderly on this day who have finished their Vedic education ? What do they do on this day ?
Upakarma is a *compulsory rite* for all who have undergone Upanayana, irrespective of their age. Shastras say that like how a cloth becomes worn out as you use it regularly, how freshness of a fruit diminishes with time, how our body ages with time, similarly the Vedas, which are chanted by we human beings, because of our bodily makeup and mental capacity, over a period of time loses its impact and the power to produce results. So Upakarma is the day when you charge up the Mantra Shakti within yourself and make a fresh commencement or beginning, they way a freshly serviced car drives very smoothly till its next service. Similarly, our ability to focus, grasp and produce energy during mantra chanting is enhanced or charged up on this auspicious day.
Below are the complete sequence of procedures as per Shastras you need to follow on the day of Upakarma. Some of them in this list are your daily duties (Nitya karma) and some are specific to Upakarma day.
*1. Snanam* : Daily morning bath
*2. Pratah Sandhyavandanam*
*3. Samidhadanam (For Brahmachari/Bachelor)*
*4. Aupasanam (For Gruhastha/Married men)*
*5. Vapanam:* Shaving of hair to keep only Shikha (Only for bachelors)
*6. Kamokarsheet Mantra Japam*: This mantra is chanted 108 times or 1008 times as Prayaschitta, to ask for pardon for not stopping Veda Adhyeyana throughout the year
*7. Madhyahnikam*
*8. Brahmayagnam*
*9. Snana Mahasankalpam:* Resolve to take a sin-absolving bath with mantras
*10. Snanam:* The actual bath (this unfortunately has become mere sprinkling of water on the head, which is a very big lapse in one of the important rituals or Vedic karmas recommended on this day).
*11. Yagnopaveeta Dharanam:* Wearing of new Yagnopaveeta / Poonal / Janeu / Munj / Jandhyam /Jannivara /Poita (Unfortunately, people today think that the whole purpose of Upakarma is just to change this sacred thread as it is one year old - which is highly incorrect)
*12. Mounji bandanam*(only for Brahmachari): Tying of munja grass rope around waist for protection
*13. Ajinam* (only for Brahmachari)
*14. Dandam* (only for Brahmachari): Holding and retaining forever of Palasha stick, an inducer of intellect and memory power
Contd.
