بفضل الله وتوفيقه، اجتزت اليوم المناقشة النهائية وحصلت على درجة الدكتوراه في طب الطوارئ لكبار السن من جامعة ليستر في المملكة المتحدة 🇬🇧🎓

From Amsterdam 🇳🇱, I had the opportunity to present the findings of one of my PhD studies, “The Interaction Between Frailty and Patient Characteristics and Its Association with Hospital-Related Adverse Events in Older Adults,” at the International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics conference IAGG 2026.

Another milestone reached, the fourth publication from PhD is now published in BMC Geriatrics.

This study examined the association between frailty measured using the Clinical Frailty Score (CFS) and the risk of having at least one adverse event and wether this association varied by patient demographic or clinical characteristics.

Delighted to share the third publication from my PhD project in @Age_and_Ageing:

"The Association Between the Degree of Frailty and The Risk of Hospital Related Adverse Events in Older Acutely Admitted Patients"

This study demonstrates an association between increasing frailty severity (measured using the Clinical Frailty Scale) and the risk of hospital-related adverse events in older acutely admitted patients, emphasising the importance of frailty identification in improving patient safety.
