Tomorrow at #ITSAmerica2026.
Proud to be in the Electronic Conspicuity working group with US DOT Volpe — and the direction federal research points (cellular + sidelink) is what AeroNet flies today.

TCAS: too heavy for drones. ADS-B: unencrypted, optional, dark below 1,000 ft.
Electronic conspicuity closes the gap — AeroNet delivers it over C-V2X. Compact, encrypted, peer-to-peer.

The airspace problem isn't regulatory. It's infrastructure.
6.5M drones by 2030, no shared way to see each other — the electronic conspicuity gap. We built the fix.

V2X is here.
A2X is coming.
AeroNet UTM is built for both.
The only platform applying CV2X across air AND ground — one authenticated, interoperable system for the 8 million autonomous vehicles coming by 2030.

Every other UTM authorizes.
Mid-flight something changes. Network drops. Two operators. Same corridor.
Their response: nothing.
AeroNet UTM separates everything — offline, real-time, every vehicle type, no cloud round trip.
They authorize. We separate.

Three integrated nodes. One unified system.
AeroNet UTM connects drones, eVTOLs, AVs, and robots in a single real-time operating picture — authenticated, routed, and separated without a network round trip.

The tech works. The pilots succeed. The data checks out. So why is the gap between proof-of-concept and real deployment still so wide? That's the real conversation at #ITSAmerica2026.

Good morning, colleagues and friends!
Over the last decade, my mission has been to bring proven automotive IP, systems, and processes to Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) — making safe, scalable air travel and uncrewed aircraft operations accessible to millions.
In January 2024, we partnered with WSP and the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) Office of Aeronautics to deploy wireless mesh networks using automotive-grade connected vehicle technologies (DSRC/C-V2X).
We successfully tested these networks for Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) UAS operations, integrating air and ground systems at real-world sites including the MDOT Lansing facility and Coleman A. Young International Airport in Detroit.
The results were transformative:
-Outstanding communication reliability (Exceeds ASTM F3548-21 UAS Mesh Communications Standards)
-Ultra-low latency for command and control
-Seamless multimodal coordination
Most importantly, this technology delivers our nation’s airports a powerful new safety layer — dramatically improving coordination and situational awareness between arriving/departing aircraft and ground vehicle operations on the airfield.
Even better, the same mesh network enables real-time deconfliction of drones from each other, priority access for emergency responders, and the ability to broadcast precise routes, rules, and actively manage traffic in dense airspace.
Best of all, the solution is continentally scalable. It safely opens the skies to millions of drones and future AAM vehicles while enhancing overall airport safety and efficiency.
Special thanks to the City of Detroit Airport Department, Michigan Department of Transportation - Office of Aeronautics for their strong support and partnership. Huge thanks also to the outstanding WSP team for this groundbreaking collaboration. The final report is now public.
We believe a common traffic frequency is critical to integrating and harmonizing "robot" and "non-robot" traffic. What are your thoughts on using connected mesh networks to unlock safer, integrated air mobility?

Next-gen aircraft will refine how people and products move... and they are COMING SOON thanks to President Trump 🇺🇸
@FAANews’ 8 pilot programs will allow partners to test their innovative tech in the real world!
The INNOVATION we are seeing in America’s skies is going to change everything 📺⬇️@VarneyCo
Joby is honored to be selected as a key partner in multiple winning applications for the @FAANews and @USDOT eVTOL Integration Pilot Program (eIPP).
With over 15 years of innovation, 50,000 miles of flight testing and our first FAA-conforming aircraft for TIA set to fly shortly, we’re ready to demonstrate the operational maturity this program demands.
We are proud to stand alongside our state and local partners in New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Vermont, Florida, Texas, North Carolina, Virginia, Utah, Arizona, Idaho, Oklahoma and Oregon as we work to redefine urban and regional connectivity across the country.
We would like to thank the leadership at the @WhiteHouse, the Department of Transportation, and the FAA for their vision and decisive action in securing the future of American aviation.
We’ll see you in the skies later this year!

🚨The future of flight is here under @POTUS with eight new pilot projects as a part of our Advanced Air Mobility pilot program:
🛬 Safely test futuristic aircraft that will RADICALLY CHANGE the way people and products move
🚁 Partners will use these aircraft for all kinds of scenarios, including: urban air taxis, regional travel, cargo logistics, and emergency medicine
🇺🇸 This will create one of the WORLD’s largest testing environments for next-generation aircraft in states all across America
It all begins THIS SUMMER!
From all of us at ASX, we extend our heartfelt thanks to the veterans who have served our country. Your sacrifice and commitment to protecting our freedoms will never be forgotten.
It is an honor for Jon Rimanelli, ASX Founder/CEO, to speak at the 2025 Tennessee Drone and AAM Symposium. Jon will talk Wednesday Nov. 12, 2025 on Unifying Advanced Air and Ground Mobility, and will participate in a panel discussion Thursday Nov 13, 2025 on Designing the Infrastructure Ecosystem for Automated UAS and AAM Operations.
