@ToepickTrips@mehdirhasan I lost Gupta after I saw him recommending pushing elevator buttons with a pen, then putting the pen in his pocket to prevent Covid transmission.
@walkinglife Thank you. She swore for a week it was a bad cold. I finally persuaded her to let me test her. It was day 6 and I needed to get Paxlovid on a Sunday. Its 3 weeks out and she’s still tired. She rarely goes out. Don’t know which workman gave it to her.
@hkergrrl No you don’t need. But it’s fun (in a creepy academic kind of way). I just got my California naturalist certification. I don’t need. I’m retired. :)
@MarkHarrisNYC You guys living in a cave? This has been a regular summer occurrence in CA in the summer for years. I guess if it’s not in the center of your world it doesn’t count.
Families dont live in walking distance ,very few busses are available. This requires parents to drive. Yet there is no plan for efficient drop off/pick up. It is jungle rules out there. After the death of a child at a neighboring school, I’d think action would be taken by now
@campbellusd I’ve been communicating with our neighborhood principal Alana Wilson regarding the parents parking in the neighborhoods for drop off and pick up. She says she is helpless. Today is fifth grade promotion. Someone moved my garbage cans to the side sidewalk to park
They routinely block driveways. Block hydrants. Park in red zones. Double park. I have contacted parking enforcement, my counsel person and the sup. The teachers also park on the street making it difficult for parents. There are empty spots in the TWO lots.
@tomiahonen He will never go to prison. Imagine the logistics of that. My guess, he’ll get and ankle bracelet and home confinement at a resort….his resort. I hope they take every dime he has…
