📌 Through our mission with UHWI Cardiac Unit, a team from the Montefiore Hospital in NY, & the Organization for International Development, we do a yearly mission to assist financially challenged patients with free heart surgeries.

From March 9-13, 11 patients will undergo life-saving valve replacement surgeries. Without these surgeries, patients are at risk of heart deterioration, heart failure, and even death.

Yesterday, our returning sponsor All Power Ltd donated $200,000 towards our Cardiac Mission. They continue to support us and we are grateful 🙏🏾

Between March 9-14, we are hoping to save an additional 10 lives through free heart surgeries.

Faith & Moses were selected for the scholarships awarded by the government through @chasefundjm in 2020.

UHWI now has TWO full-time Clinical Perfusionists! 🙌🏾

In 2019, our Founder, @ThisIzAbz , reached out via X (Twitter) to Prime Minister, @AndrewHolnessJM , requesting a meeting. He said yes.

The selected scholars officially began their training in September 2023, and today, they have completed the programme with MERIT and are now serving as the official full-time Clinical Perfusionists at UHWI.
