This Month’s “Do One Thing” is adding a first aid kit to your Emergency Go Bag.
Emergencies happen when we least expect them—having a well-stocked first aid kit can make all the difference. This month, take a few minutes to Do One Thing for your safety:
-Check your current kit for expired or missing items
-Add essentials like bandages, gauze, antiseptic wipes, gloves, pain relievers, and emergency contact info
-Keep a kit at home, in your car, and at work
- Make sure everyone in your household knows where it’s located

WEATHER ALERT: Light snow tonight and into Sunday morning could make for some slick driving conditions. Tap the link to see which communities have parking bans in place: https://t.co/6RKmqh1i3H
Winter driving demands extra caution, especially when dealing with hidden dangers like black ice. Keep a larger following distance than usual to give yourself more time to react on slick roads. And remember, posted speed limits are meant for ideal conditions—during winter weather, it’s safest to drive below the limit to maintain control. Slowing down, increasing your space, and staying aware can make all the difference on winter roads.
Deck the halls—safely! 🎄✨ Inspect all holiday lights for damaged cords, use indoor and outdoor lights as intended, and avoid overloading outlets. Turn lights off before bed or when leaving home to prevent electrical fires.
