A 23-year-old Pakistani national, Danish Muhammad, was just arrested in Tokyo’s Kabukicho on suspicion of threatening a Japanese woman in her 20s with a knife (“kill you”), robbing her of 57,000 yen, and sexually assaulting her in a hotel.

He allegedly used a translation app to further intimidate her (“I have accomplices,” “don’t tell anyone”) and demand her address.

Police are checking other similar reports in the area.

Japan, this is what happens when you import the problem and ignore the pattern.
