We went into this wanting to work with you—we’re genuine fans and were so excited about the collaboration. From the very beginning, we were upfront about our budget and what we can afford to execute the music video, the Photoshoot, the album art, the trailer and press photos.

I had moved my entire release date just to be able to work with you, out of respect for your time. I’ve stayed quiet for as long as I could, but I needed to say my piece. Even until the end my manager was still trying to make this work, suggesting solutions and new dates so we can re-align and no one’s effort goes to waste.

What hurts the most is seeing my character publicly attacked over something that’s not just out of my control but is a business negotiation between our managers and conversation that should’ve stayed private. You targeted me to bring me down. I’ve decided to leave the whole screen recording here for full transparency as we have nothing to hide.

I thought this was something we had agreed on to talk about in person. We are now in contact with our legal team about a defamation suit. I hate that this had to go this way when it didn’t have to.

FTTM Summary on Denise Julia’s statement:

1. Denise Julia (DJ) greets Merry Christmas, emphasizes everyone’s waiting for the statement.

2. DJ reached out to BJ Pascual (BJ) after being notified by her manager on the podcast with KK. DJ apologized on the miscomms. Manager also reached out but BJ didn’t get back to them until the 24th of December.

3. DJ’s team reached out to BJ last May for a project which was pushed back to accomodate BJ’s availability.

4. DJ’s met up with BJ 2 times to discuss about the project and negotiated with a budget of 650K but did not get back with confirmation on the proposed budget.

5. BJ’s team sent DJ’s an updated cost of 1.2M 3weeks after DJ’s sent the initial budget, 3 days before the shoot.

6. Denise Julia stretched the budget to 800K. She really wanted to do it and was willing to let of the music video, considering only 2 layouts. Manager considers so efforts would not go to waste.

7. DJ’s team takes note on how they’ve been working on production for more than a decade now, citing no vendor would proceed without an actual budget agreed upon, cites the risks involved.

8. BJ’s team decides to cancel the shoot.

@sesanicheolxx From iPhone 11PM nag switch ako to Samsung S22Ultra. Okay naman siya kaso there are times na nag bbug out lang which is nangyayari din sa IOS. Di ko rin nagustuhan na when gaming eh mas mabilis uminit yung S22U kaysa sa 11PM. After 7 months nag switch back ako to iPhone 14PM.
