@AntonHand The amount of joy and fun generated by it is significantly larger than any "finished" AAA VR game in my library though. Truly a gem. Interaction is king in VR games, studios need to consider this before putting out stuff with static worlds and being surprised with low enthusiasm.
@AntonHand IMO too many people in the virtual room. Too easy to find friends to hate on others w/ if you're scared, too little in common, too many algos that thrive on getting us enraged. I kinda want to step outside for a moment, but I know what goes on inside the room is kinda important.
Hej @svt, när man delar era ofta mycket informativa grejer på Facebook så följer ingen tumnagel med, utan det blir bara en trist platt länk. Vore ballt om det kom med en bild så att t.ex den här utmärkta grejen fått större spridning.
@AntonHand For me it was Satisfactory. An instant hit, felt like the game "got me" in some way. "It just works" was the general feeling I got. Extremely cozy environment too, that turned out to be hand crafted, and it shows. It has vistas that a procedurally generated world lacks.
@AntonHand I wouldn't have it any other way. Humanoid targets would make H3 feel like some sort of murder simulator. It's a gun proficiency game, and a unique artefact of PCVR that will probably never happen again given the current market. Congrats on the fantastic Institution release. 🔥
@AntonHand No reason to excuse the inclusion of Fortnite, it's a perfectly fine game, I play it often for the sheer adrenaline rush. Haven't found a better BR game that balances traversal, reward and combat quite like it. PUBG is too hard and clunky for an old man like me.
@AntonHand I was wondering the other day: What would you do differently if you had to restart development of H3 today and end up with a viable product that fits your vision? Not necessarily just re: the Unity debacle, but in general.
