NextLevel Sports Analyst commentary from a Renaissance Man & 4.3 Speedster California RunningBack who has a love-hate relationship with the sport of football
@TSAdedara I have to watch the entire game again to be fair.. He is still Ronaldo we definitely know that.. so tactical play can freeze out gifted Strikers which is often the case per the coach/manager even more during this decade or they start pressing without the ball. Go get the ball🤣🤣
@HaterReport I heard this I had two thoughts
1) Henry is different as a older person on team play
2) I remember a lot of solo goals where he took off
Then I watch this commentary and agreed he is Right but he is wrong. If Ronaldo is going to hang out in the box Yes; or Take it up like Pele
@Lakers@bibigoUSA it’s about Mitchell’s role collapsing when SGA takes over. They cannot both be the alpha simultaneously. Make SGA the alpha early. Then take the game in Q4 when neither of them is operating at peak.
That’s the series.
@Lakers@bibigoUSA Mitchell isn’t being fed from the bench in Q3. He’s the first punch out of halftime — every single game. He comes out of the locker room, catches the ball immediately scores before the Lakers can set their defense. Daigneault — is telling Mitchell you go first. Don’t wait for SGA
@Lakers@bibigoUSA et SGA explode early. Back off him slightly in Q1. Let him get 12-14 points in the first quarter. Feed his ego. Let him feel like the MVP again.
@Lakers@bibigoUSA SGA is the reigning MVP. He’s going 4-for-14 in the first half. The Lakers are making him look human. And then he sits in that locker room and watches his second-year teammate come out and immediately drill a triple and spark a 15-4 run.
Lakers secret weapon nobody sees: Rui + Kennard + Ayton together actually keeps it close. Kennard forces Holmgren OFF the rim to guard the 3. Paint opens up. But Redick breaks it up too early. Start Q3 with that lineup and DON’T TOUCH IT. Make Chet choose. 🎯 #LakeShow let’s Bron
@Lakers in the Phoenix series — Mitchell only got 5 for 20. The Pressure broke him mentally. Vanderbilt is the answer. Get him a padded glove. — deny Mitchell early catches, force him right hand, make him earn every touch… A bad start snowballs on young players
@Lakers Hachimura is shooting 57.1% & Kennard shot 7/10 in Game 3. Put BOTH of them on the floor at the same time in the 3rd quarter. Force Holmgren to choose — protect the rim OR close out on shooters. He can’t do both. That’s the driving lane that opens up for LeBron
@Lakers Chet Holmgren is averaging 21 points a game in this series. Ajay Mitchell is averaging over 20 off the bench. These guys want the ball too. If SGA is in ISO mode all night, those guys are standing watching. That tension is real — even on great teams.
@Lakers If you bait SGA into 38-40 minutes of heavy usage and 20+ shot attempts in Qs 1-3, by the 4th his legs are gone. He gets his line but he’s running on fumes. It throws off the bench and you are not using your bench. That’s when you go at him and win 4,straight.
@Lakers Slow the pace. OKC has 16-19 fast break points per game. Most of those come directly from LAL turnovers. Solve the turnover issue and the pace problem largely fixes itself.
@Lakers Attack Hartenstein aggressively. He has some foul trouble risk. Ayton needs to be physical and demanding in the post — force him into foul situations early.
@Lakers LeBron needs to defend better or get hidden. Put Smart or Vanderbilt on the most dangerous OKC wing and let LeBron guard someone softer. His effort/positioning in the half-court defense has been poor.
@Lakers Change the 3rd quarter lineup. Don’t run the same bench unit that’s getting torched by OKC’s bench. This is where Kennard + Hachimura together could change the dynamic — two shooters that force OKC’s bench to guard the arc.
@Lakers Put a real body on Ajay Mitchell. Marcus Smart or a fresh Jarred Vanderbilt needs to be assigned specifically to him, not rotating schemes. He’s operating too freely.
@Lakers Cut turnovers in half. Get from 19 down to 10-12. That’s the single biggest leverage point. No other adjustment matters as much. Team needs need simpler actions and fewer live-ball mistakes. @BronnyJamesJr@KingJames it’s a closer “series” than anyone thinks. Match bench subs
