Dear @RBI how can these services like @slicebank are accessing my kyc records without my consent at early morning, when I have not given any approval for them to do the same
REAL PHOTOGRAPHY MUST REMAIN IN PEOPLE'S HANDS
Today, we are launching VWFNDR™ + MBL, a compact camera for everyone.
A camera you always carry should work like a camera, not as a computational filter, not as an AI image generator, but as a tool for intentional photography.
“Bhai, I drive honestly all day… why are you treating me like a criminal?”
That’s what Nitesh Dwivedi kept saying with tears in his eyes.
Nitesh works as a driver in Delhi. Like every normal day, he had taken a passenger and parked his vehicle near a metro station.
Suddenly, a few police officers arrived.
“Show your first-aid kit.”
Nitesh immediately showed it.
Then they asked for his driving licence.
Nitesh opened DigiLocker and showed the digital licence issued under government rules.
But the officer refused.
“We don’t accept all this. Show the original document in hand.”
Nitesh tried explaining calmly that DigiLocker documents are legally valid in India.
The officer didn’t listen.
Instead, the situation became more aggressive.
According to Nitesh, the officer started threatening him — saying the vehicle would be seized and he would be sent to court.
Then things turned humiliating.
The officer allegedly grabbed Nitesh by the ear and pushed him.
A hardworking driver who had spent the entire day earning barely ₹3000 eventually broke down and cried.
And the worst part?
Nitesh claims the money he earned that day was also taken away.
Sadly, many online drivers in Delhi are now sharing similar experiences.
They say they are often harassed despite carrying valid DigiLocker documents, and are pressured simply because they don’t have physical originals with them.
A system meant to protect citizens should never become a reason for fear.
@Pranav_Dupati@saaaanjjjuuu That's very true, it's value currently at that price no brand matches or offers with the great camera system that it already has which gets better with updates.
@saaaanjjjuuu@Pranav_Dupati Bro, You mean to say they launched it at a lower price in comparison to the value that it offers so they are discontinuing it 🤔
The one thing I don't appreciate about Apple is their software update and how useless they are if you think about it for a second.
When is the last time Apple shipped a meaningful software improvement from the latest generation to an older model, even the last year's 16 Pro won't get the software related enhancement Apple brought with the 17 Pro camera.
You buy an iPhone, everything that you get, that's it. Even if there's any major issue (iPhone 13 series and iPhone 14 series) like HDR pipeline being buggy, It will never get properly fixed in it's lifetime unlike the 15 series which introduced the newer software pipeline to fix the issue for once.
Meanwhile, Samsung is shipping most of the software tricks of S26 Ultra Camera (better processing, virtual aperture on all lenses and so on) with OneUI 8.5. Same thing with other Androids. They have to work 10x harder than Apple for pushing a software update because,
Apple's monthly or quarterly software update ≠ Androids monthly or quarterly software update.
One is about bare minimum with only fixing extremely major security issue (unless the yearly update) and another is about refinement and features both.
