I can’t hand out conviction — only share mine.

Cash is the only real problem $SGMO has. And for a 30-year survivor sitting on a BP-level pipeline — 2 commercial-ready products, multiple potential blockbusters, and platform tech that could earn designations — that feels like a very very temporary problem. Don’t die is the only rule in startup game— and $SGMO danced the dance for long.

In this market, cash is the easiest thing to fix. Debt, VC, PE, asset sales, a buyout… options are endless. And latest Fabry data already flipped the story into its inflection point. If you can’t land a deal off that, the whole biotech sector may as well pack up.

There’s oceans of dry powder waiting. Overvalued sectors will spill over, and rate cuts will only flood more in. Timing is the only unknown, but the cash crunch and work so far make September an extremely hot and likely frame. “Gut Ding will Weile haben.” And Weile seems about to be done.

@martinvars Eso solo es uno de los temas. El otro que queria mencionar es que la industria biotechnologica y los scientificos trabjando en ese sector y las universidades estan atemorizados de los comentarios de RJK Jr.'s sobre vacunas y las empresas farmaceuticas.
