C'était un honneur d'être en compagnie de leaders politiques et personnalités estimés, d'intellectuels, de journalistes, d'entrepreneurs et d'artistes qui ont fait preuve d'une immense gentillesse, hospitalité et surtout, de soutien envers le peuple d'Afghanistan dans sa quête d'un avenir libre et démocratique.
Au peuple de France — votre hospitalité ne conna��t pas de limites, et votre engagement envers les valeurs humaines universelles résonne profondément avec nos aspirations. Votre soutien moral et intellectuel renforce le lien solide entre nos peuples et nous donne la force dans notre lutte pour construire un Afghanistan démocratique et pluraliste.
Je souhaite exprimer ma plus profonde reconnaissance aux membres du Parlement européen qui nous ont chaleureusement reçus, ma délégation et moi-même à Strasbourg. Vos discussions robustes et votre volonté de vous engager de manière substantielle sur les questions les plus importantes pour l'Afghanistan étaient profondément encourageantes. De plus, la résolution adoptée à la suite de notre visite est une étape significative qui renforce non seulement notre détermination, mais sert également de phare d'espoir pour chaque citoyen d'Afghanistan.

I have just returned from a productive and fruitful visit to France and the EU Parliament in Strasbourg. It was an honor to be in the company of esteemed political leaders and personalities, intellectuals, journalists, entrepreneurs and artists who have shown immense kindness, hospitality, and above all, support for the people of Afghanistan in their quest for a free and democratic future.
To the people of France—your hospitality knows no bounds, and your commitment to universal human values resonates deeply with our aspirations. Your moral and intellectual support solidifies the strong bond between our peoples and gives us strength in our struggle to build a democratic and pluralistic Afghanistan.
I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to the Members of the European Parliament who warmly received me and my delegation in Strasbourg. Your robust discussions and your willingness to engage substantively on the issues that matter most to Afghanistan were profoundly encouraging. Moreover, the resolution passed following our visit is a significant milestone that not only bolsters our resolve but also serves as a beacon of hope for every citizen of Afghanistan.
Together, we can build a world where freedom, equality, and justice are not merely words but realities for all to experience. Thank you, France, for standing beside Afghanistan in these trying times.
