@FontMe imo BF tweak mode is quite good enuf and req no time so cool :) except u can't delta it, open folder crashes iOS needs hard reset :/

@vXBaKeRXv exactly! I thought the same. They use ttcs for Helvetica and some other fonts. But I guess they fancy their new technology...

@nicole_anitaxo no they don't. iOS 10 uses variable fonts a new technology, currently not portable (feasibly). Till we figure it out.

@FontMe @vXBaKeRXv can't we interpolate OTF fonts? Why must they be in TTF format only? Or do they?

@FontMe @ev_ynw I tried Simplify function with fontforge but doesn't always work great. I haven't read var font spec yet.. any ideas?

To sum up, this is a very new font format and chances of getting a proper "port" atm look slim. We'll keep u posted if we find out more..

(1/3) Hey folks iOS 10 now implements the new OpenType 1.8 spec with the new "variable fonts" feature. This is cool but not for us porters.
