@solehin25 This is an angiogram examination. Angio= blood vessel. Gram=writing/recording. Iodine-based contrast is injected into the blood vessel to make it visible. Below is a kidney angiogram, where we visualise blood vessels in the kidney.

In the lung, AVM tends to rupture causing bleeding. Clots or bacteria in the blood can pass through the lung AVM causing stroke or brain abscess.

AVM (arteriovenous malformation) is an abnormally formed blood vessels. Artery and vein are normally connected via capillary, which is absent in an AVM. AVM can occur anywhere in the body.

64 yo pt with painless obstructive jaundice (total bili 14, direct 12). ERCP failed CBD cannulation, but bile ducts minimally dilated on CT.
