THE PEPS SQUAD: Who Are They?

They are a group of Friends it is a fan fiction storyline of the Kemono Friends alt universe close to KF3's timeline. The acronym "P.E.P.S." stands for the names of its core members: 🐆Peach Panther, 🦉Eurasian Eagle Owl, 🕊️Passenger Pigeon, and 🦁Shisa Lefty. who all ended up together through a mix of luck, timing, and honestly probably fate. None of them planned it. It just kind of happened. Their squad exists to explore Japari Park together, seek new adventures, have fun, and make the most out of every journey they share.

To summarize everything in a short introduction (because I can't fit it all in this tweet)
First there's Mimi, the Eurasian Eagle Owl, who used to work at the park library in a mountain of books with her Professor, until she got tired of just learning and reading about the world instead of actually living in it. She's wise, smart and kind of intimidating at first, the type who corrects you mid sentence and doesn't apologize for it. She's blunt, a little proud, and honestly kind of hard to approach. But once you're in her circle she's surprisingly loyal. Also she's always hungry. Like constantly It's a whole thing.

Then there's Passy, the Passenger Pigeon, who is basically the opposite of Mimi in the best way. She's energetic and sweet and the loving kind of person who makes friends in the first five minutes of meeting someone. She loves traveling and adventure more than anything, though underneath all that brightness she carries something quiet, being the last of her kind isn't something she talks about much, but it's always there. She and Mimi met while Mimi was wandering solo and just kind of clicked immediately. Mimi told herself she was just helping. She was also just lonely. Neither of them said it out loud.

Peachy, the Peach Panther, joined a little later. She used to run her own shop booth in the park and was genuinely good at any specific task, but good at something and happy doing it aren't always the same thing. When Mimi and Passy walked into her booth one day she felt it, specifically the way she looks at Passy kind of says it for her, the way she lit up at everything that Peachy couldn't quite shake. She packed up not long after and joined them. She's the type who quietly holds everything together without making it obvious, always nurturing, always reliable, always two steps ahead of what everyone needs. She keeps her feelings composed. Mostly.

And then there's Lefty, the Shisa, who was guarding the Ryukyu region with her twin sister Righty before she later realized that being strong on your own has its limits. True strength comes from teamwork, because the more the hands the more you can accomplish. She's loud, strong and competitive and will tease you relentlessly, especially if you're Mimi, but if something actually threatens the squadshe gets into her serious mood instantly and you remember she's been a guardian her whole life. She basically invited herself into the group after meeting the others and Mimi eventually said yes, mostly because nobody can actually stop Lefty once she's decided something.
