💥 India sold $12B in gold reserves in May 2026 to defend the rupee, per Bloomberg Economics. Official data shows a steep $4.5B drop in gold value—more than price swings alone explain. RBI hasn’t confirmed, but the move signals active market intervention.

Funny Indian government. It doesn’t have issues with electoral bonds that remain hidden without any code name totalling thousands of crores but have a problem with Pernaud for using code names for whisky hiding tariff outlay of just few hundred crores 🙄
