Today in math we did a math lab! Students got to create 2D and 3D shapes, compare shapes vertices, and make new shapes out of other shapes. Look at the excitement! Our students really enjoyed learning math and ELA together.
My students really enjoyed being a producer and consumer this week. This project allowed my students to discuss scarcity, opportunity cost, and economic choices.
Happy Friday! Today my students created anchor charts for economics as a formative assessment. They were required to identify wants and needs by definition and images. I enjoyed how much they enjoyed this.
Writing in first grade at @RedOakElemen looks like this! So proud of my students for utilizing their interactive notebooks and retelling stories in order.
Learning is happening! Interactive math notebook setup, learning to annotate the text in ELA, and diving into the standard in Social Studies! #RedOakReady@RedOakElemen @ROEPrin_Akbar #GameTime#BetterTogether

@TeachMrReed The most important thing we can do is break down barriers to allow ALL students opportunity to access and be leaders in the environment. Dismantling racism, systems of exclusion, and other forms of oppression is a step toward creating a healthy planet with everyone involved
