Dusty May said Marcus Sasser has stood out in Dallas Mavericks training camp, mostly for what he does away from the ball.
"He's had a lot of those hidden plays that really make the team go," May said.

🔴 $SPY: -0.22%

Can $SCHD keep its annual dividend growth streak alive?
Through Q3, SCHD has paid $0.7759, up just 0.84% from the first three payouts of 2025.
That puts a lot of attention on Q4.
$0.2718+ is all SCHD needs to finish 2026 with another annual increase. It does not need another huge Q4 payout or even need to match last year’s record $0.2782
Based on what the underlying holdings are paying and the dividend raises we’re seeing, I still think the high $0.27s, maybe even low $0.28s, are in play.
But even if we get that, 2026 would still be a very slow dividend growth year. SCHD’s weakest full year growth so far was 3.77% in 2023.
That said, SCHD has surprised before.
In 2016, after the first three payments, cumulative dividends were actually about 1.8% lower than they were through Q3 2015. Then Q4 came in at $0.3987, a massive 46.9% increase over the prior year’s Q4 payout of $0.2715. That pushed full year 2016 dividend growth to about 9.7%.
I’m not saying we’re about to see anything like that again, but it’s a good reminder that one quarter can change the full year picture pretty quickly.
So the underlying dividend growth is there, but the big variable again is inflows and the growing share count, because that income ultimately has to be spread across however many $SCHD shares are outstanding.
Right now, 2026 is shaping up to be one of SCHD’s weakest dividend growth years. But Q4 still gets the final say. We will see…

THE STORY
With $SCHD continuing to hit new monthly lows and now sitting around 7% below its 52-week high set about two months ago, my buying continues.
Could $SCHD keep going lower? Absolutely. But these are the prices I’ve been waiting for, so I’m continuing to add as it falls.

“Investors often wait for a correction, then get too afraid to buy when it finally happens.”
$SCHD IS GETTING CLOSE TO RARE TERRITORY.
Historically, $SCHD has seen an 8%+ pullback roughly every 1.5–2 years and a 10%+ correction about every 2.5 years.
A 15%+ decline has happened only four times since inception, roughly once every 3.5–4 years.
A 20%+ decline? Only once: COVID.
$SCHD finished today at $32.85, putting it about 7% below its $35.31 high.
Some perspective:
• 8% pullback: $32.49 → 3.24% yield
• 10% correction: $31.78 → 3.32% yield
• 15% pullback: $30.01 → 3.51% yield
• 20% decline: $28.25 → 3.73% yield
• 4% yield: $26.35 → 25% below the high
These opportunities don’t come around very often.
Things can always go lower, but when an ETF you plan to own for years approaches levels it only reaches every couple of years, that should get your attention.
It’s hard to believe $SCHD was sitting at an all-time high just over a month ago.
For long-term investors, this is the kind of volatility you wait for. 🤩
All-NBA center Jalen Duren is not attending Detroit Pistons media day Monday nor the start of training camp, declining the team’s five-year, $200 million fully guaranteed offer in restricted free agency so far, sources tell ESPN. The sides remain at a stalemate ahead of Thursday deadline on a one-year, $9.6 million qualifying offer.
