❤️💙 Crystal Palace had zero trophies in their history until beginning of 2025… now they have three.
🏆 FA Cup
🏆 Community Shield
🏆 Conference League
Insane job by coach Oliver Glasner and the club.
This na exactly the problem when Nigeria stop to teach history for decades. Anybody fit wake up, type anything, and people wey no sabi better, wey no know how to research, go just dey clap like say na gospel.
Wetín this man talk here no correct. At all.
Egbe Omo Oduduwa no start out of envy or madness. Dem found am for 1948 as Yoruba cultural and political organisation because pan Nigerian politics don already fail Yoruba interest under colonial rule. This one no be opinion. Na documented history.
Receipts dey plenty.
Scholars like Richard Sklar for Nigerian Political Parties and James Coleman for Nigeria Background to Nationalism explain am clearly. Egbe Omo Oduduwa come up because centralised politics under NCNC no give room for regional balance. Awolowo sef explain am for Path to Nigerian Freedom. The whole idea na federalism, not ethnic hatred.
Now make we talk the lie.
The claim say “their harshest critics na people wey already start similar ethnic organisations” na rubbish.
The main people wey oppose Egbe Omo Oduduwa na:
– NCNC people wey believe say Nigeria must be one strong central unit.
– Some Yoruba elites wey follow Azikiwe politically.
– People wey reject regional autonomy and prefer unitary nationalism.
No be say dem dey angry because dem get their own ethnic group. Na ideological fight.
Even worse, before Egbe Omo Oduduwa:
– Igbo State Union don dey since 1936.
– Ibibio Union, Ijaw Union, Urhobo Progress Union don already dey.
– Northern cultural organisations don exist long before Jamiyyar Mutanen Arewa formalise.
So where the hypocrisy dey. Nowhere.
This no be moral drama. Na argument about political structure. Centralisation versus federalism.
To come now dey project Twitter outrage mentality enter 1940s politics na pure ignorance. These men dey debate constitutions, power sharing, minority protection. No be vibes.
So no, Awolowo no dey “shocked” by critics wey secretly do the same thing. That na fantasy history.
When you no teach people history, clout chasers go fill the gap with fiction, and people wey no fit research go believe am.
Na so ignorance dey spread.
Young Nigerians, especially those born after 2000, let me tell you about a man named Japheth Omojuwa who is currently lecturing OBidients about their “irascibility.”
Omojuwa, the man who once tweeted he would “vote a dead pig over Jonathan and go home happy” is now lecturing OBidients on political decorum and “irascibility.”
The audacity is breathtaking.
Let’s talk about YOUR record. 🧵
In 2013, you called President Jonathan supporters “lowlives” for celebrating him ringing the NYSE bell.
In 2023, you praised Tinubu for ringing the NASDAQ bell, calling it “exciting for all Nigerians.”
Same action. Different standards. What changed?
In 2012, you were a “crucial part” of #OccupyNigeria, protesting fuel subsidy removal.
In 2016, you wrote an article defending Buhari’s fuel price hike, calling it a “global reality.”
Jonathan’s subsidy removal = corruption.
Buhari’s subsidy removal = economics.
The hypocrisy is documented.
You built your entire career on aggressive social media activism against a sitting government. You called Jonathan “worse than useless,” “extremely clueless,” and a “disaster.”
Now you condemn OBidients for criticizing this administration and the one you championed before it?
You are projecting and criticizing a reflection of your former self.
Let’s not forget 2021:
•Former Minister Ezekwesili petitioned the IGP to investigate you for FRAUD
•She accused you of registering her as a director of Alpha Reach WITHOUT her consent
•Your PR firm was exposed for running paid campaigns for a Venezuelan money launderer
This is your moral authority?
You’ve admitted you’re an APC member. You voted for them. You benefit from this government.
So when you offer “advice” to OBidients, you’re not a neutral observer. You’re a partisan operative doing what you’ve always done: attacking the opposition for personal gain.
Miss us with that BS…we see through your thin robes of hypocrisy.
The difference between you and OBidients:
It is a genuine grassroots movement fighting for a better Nigeria.
You are a documented political mercenary who shifts positions based on you know what.
Nigerians see through you. Your era of influence is over.
So no, Omojuwa, OBidients don’t need your advice.
OBidients and all well meaning Nigerians need to remember that the man lecturing them today is the same man who deleted his most toxic tweets, including one comparing a sitting president to a pig, and was accused of corporate fraud. He is in his element over there in APC.
Thankfully, the internet never forgets.
Your receipts are public. We remember.
Your advice to OBidients to “take a draw” is rich coming from someone who told Nigerians in 2015 that anyone who said they should have voted Jonathan “has earned a permanent shut up.”
Now you preach compromise to others? Take your own advice, maybe?
Here’s the thing though; Your true motivation is fear. Fear that your feeding trough will be upended by this movement.
Otherwise, take the advise of a wise man who once said “never interrupt your enemy if they’re making a mistake”. If we’re making a mess…let us, abi no be so?
Now…take a seat at the back please.
Very soon Dangote will start delivering fuel to us in our rooms.
Nice innovation by Dangote @DangoteGroup
A major blow to NUPENG again.
Dangote win, the masses win as well.
God bless The Federal Republic of Nigeria
God bless Dangote.
I schooled in Kaduna Polytechnic, Tudun Wada.
KadPoly is the biggest Polytechnic in West Africa.
There are about 50 mosques in KadPoly but just one Chapel for Christians. Even inside hostels, there are mosques.
The Christian Community begged the school authority to give them just a plot of land to build a Chapel with their own money, the school blatantly said NO.
FCS, NFCS, and NIFES share one Church, and they are always having misunderstanding because one fellowship stays beyond thier allocated time.
The like of RCF, WCF, DCF, and co, use classrooms for services, and the school authorities always caution them to stop it.
I also schooled in BUK (Bayero University, Kano).
BUK and ABU Zaria, are the two biggest schools in the North, if not in Nigeria.
There are more than 100 mosques in BUK but no single chapel as at when I was in the school.
Christian Students pray outside—even in the rain. Classes are prohibited.
I once asked "Why?" and I was told that the then Emir of Kano said that not even the president (GoodLuck Jonathan) can lay a block in BUK in the name of building a chapel.
In many departmental fellowships, students always turned down the position of fellowship presidents, secretary and other positions that put them in limelight because some lecturers who are extremists in their religion could fail them.
Many departmental presidents stayed two to three extra years in school, not because they legitimately got carryover in their courses but because they are presidents.
There's one St. Augustine Catholic Church behind Ajegunle Hostel in Tudun Wada. It is the only "stubborn" Church in the heart of Tudun Wada and it is always burnt at every given opportunity by extremists. Many of their priests and members have paid the ultimate prize because they refused to relocate the Church.
Reverend Father Borogo Vitues, the then chaplain in KadPoly was recently kidnapped and k!lled by Fulani herdsmen.
The Church in the North is being persecuted, suppressed and suffocated.
It is strategically planned by elites and meticulously carried out.
We don't enter churches here in the North without being searched thoroughly because of su!c!de bombers.
Oh, Southern Churches, I'm happy for your freedom and liberty to serve God without fear of "we may not go out of this church alive."
Christmas is approaching, at least one or two Churches in the North will be bombed by terror!sts.
There's Christian Genocide in Nigeria. It is not CLAMOURING as many people assumed.
But Esther, Listen to this, because you are in the palace does not mean you are safe. If you don't fight for your brethren being slaughtered outside now, soon, it will get to the PALACE, and it'll be your turn.
Just as @SpiricocoNg said, you are not safe or special. You are on the menu. It's only not your turn yet.
