I finally got to know of a "less inconvenient" way to check Warranty info on a Samsung phone, which I am detailing here.
I would very highly suggest doing so right at the delivery time, ESPECIALLY for people buying the Galaxy S25 Ultra deal from Amazon.
The drawback? You'll have to make the delivery guy wait for 5-10 mins more before giving the OTP or rejecting the delivery
✅ STEPS TO CHECK:
1️⃣ When you receive your new Samsung device, immediately set it up with a Samsung Account (you can skip the rest for this, and simply do a fresh reset later on to set up your data)
2️⃣ Then, open the Samsung Shop app, either on the new device itself, or on any other Samsung device with the same Samsung Account.
3️⃣ Go to "My Page" section, then scroll down to Registered Devices.
4️⃣ Your new device should be visible here after a few moments. Tap on the Device Info right next to the name, and then it'll load your warranty status.
5️⃣ If it is pre-activated unit, the warranty date will predate the delivery date by months, so it is best to reject it.
- If it is a non-activated unit, it'll display the same date as the delivery, and you can go forward with giving the OTP to the delivery guy.
This is how you can check Warranty info on a brand new Samsung phone. I don't know why cannot do a simple IMEI check webpage unlike other brands, but this is what it is for now.
