@thsottiaux Claude Code and pi now tell the terminal when they're working, waiting on you, or done (OSC 7501). Codex next? π

@mitchellh@AnthropicAI Thanks for this! Kiwa 0.4.0, a terminal multiplexer built on libghostty-vt, supports OSC 7501 now: Claude Code and pi report their status, Kiwa just shows it. No screen scraping, no polling. A scrolling pane costs Kiwa 0.4% of a core; Herdr 12%. 29x less.

Kiwa 0.4.0 is out.
Your AI agents now show up in the sidebar: working, waiting on you, or done. pi and Claude Code report it themselves over OSC 7501, so Kiwa never scrapes the screen.
Idle panes still cost 0% CPU. 2.3 MB binary.

Kiwa 0.3.0
New: `kiwa --remote host`. It wraps ssh with compression and turns off ssh's keystroke timing obfuscation, which adds up to 20 ms per key.
On a 48 KB/s, 50 ms RTT link, typing next to a flooding pane echoes in 77 ms vs 1.6 s with herdr --remote.

Introducing Kiwa, a terminal multiplexer with Herdr's sidebar that runs as lean as tmux.
vs Herdr: 28x less CPU on streaming output, 14x less memory.
vs tmux: no dotfile homework, and 3x less CPU with 10 busy background panes.
2.1 MB, Zig + ghostty-vt.

@ctatedev@haarts Thanks for creating this awesome project! I created a similar cli project for camoufox: https://t.co/5xgrItZvHp It might work better than chrome/CDP when websites are blocking you.
Just shipped camou β a local-first CLI + daemon for driving Camoufox through Playwright, without the Python SDK.
It supports persistent login sessions, named tabs, snapshot refs like @e1, and Camoufox install/switch/doctor tooling.

The rclone project is 10 years old today!
I wrote a short retrospective on the forum.

Thank you everyone who has contributed code, made issues, asked and answered questions on the forum - I couldn't do it without you!
@Will_Huang Do you think .net developers were so dumb and they didnβt know how to write dockerfile before .net 7? Speaking of CI/CD, think twice, this is a bad pattern because the host needs to have dotnet installed.
@davidfowl Thatβs not a good reason to learn from pointless solutions. The real world scenario is more complex than demo, at some point users have to go back to use dockerfile. But anyway, if MSFT and their users are happy with demo level projects, what can we say?
