@SKEEMAZSK@SeewhyChels Plus on cLOUDs Cole compared streaming to paying rent
To him it's much better to pay to OWN music than accumulate streams
The Fall Off rollout was heavy on physicals, CDs, vinyls, and digital purchases via EVEN
@SanttttiMuks01 I don't like seeing these stories by AK going against Cole for streaming less than Future and YB
Didn't Cole say that streams are like rent? I think he prefers buying a CD or an album which you own, rather than 'renting' it
That's why he sold it on EVEN
@TheMindOfHY Cole is not big on streams, he believes you should be able to Buy and OWN music
For the release he sold CDs
You could buy the album on EVEN
That's why his concerts sell out, while your most streamed artists struggle on tour
Streaming is cool but on cLOUDs he called it rent
@HotNewHipHop Are we counting features in those stats?
Seems to me if it was purely about the sole artist, minus features, Future would we waaay behind
Also, isn't this purely from Spotify?
Also, most fans bought the album from EVEN because Cole has a thing against not owning things
cLOUDs
@gshockera The stats (solely from Spotify) don't paint the whole picture
Future has collabs with Maroon 5, Drake, Juice WRLD, Metro, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Rihanna, Travis, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross...
All these count to his streams
Cole is a one man army with few features outside HipHop
