OK, found a way to query the database for this and does not appear to have happened before - in any Olympic individual event.

Its a tough query so somebody prove me wrong if I am but I think this is an Olympic first for any sport.

In the UK, 36% of those who went missing from the city between 2019 and 2020 were Black.

Black people make up 3% of the UK.

So I started building a site to amplify the search for missing Black people
