When local women question conductors and drivers they are horribly shouted at. This is not the first time I have seen something like this happen.
@BMTCInfo I boarded this bus from Johnson Market around 7.
Just another day of travelling on a BMTC bus and feeling helpless because you are a woman. The driver called out women who were heavier and verbally abused a lady wearing burkha. The conductor touches women standing and when questioned kept on yelling and pushing them.
It's scary to be near creepy men near you. If the conductor can't question or handle such situations then who else should? Please look into this matter. Being a non kannada speaker and a woman, it's a nightmare to travel alone.

I was travelling from Indiranagar - Madiwala in KA - 01 F - 9532 bus where the conductor pushed me by torso and snatched my bag pack forcefully. This isn't the first time BMTC conductors or drivers have been rude. But getting physical is not done. @BMTC_BENGALURU
He never had any issues with native women who were carrying their backpacks. There was also a man pushing away a woman from the back entrance of the bus while boarding and verbally abusing her because it was meant for men. The conductor was silent and supported the man.
Female friendships are like warm hugs, and we felt the exact same thing while writing this. Here we extend that warmth to all the witches and b*tches out there♥️

Many of us look up to movies. It's not just a medium of entertainment but something personal and symbolic.
Here are 7 times Malayalam Cinema peaked and broke stereotypes in a powerful way.

Have you stopped wearing a particular dress because somebody made you feel very conscious of how you look? Have you ever looked at yourself and hated what you saw in the mirror?

So my phone fell into tomato curry last night, and @i_clairvoyance asks me if my phone generates tomato content now. If that's not the peak moment of being a masscom student, idk what else is.
I'm on a BMTC bus and my phone starts beeping in a very creepy way. All the people are looking at me as if I'm some suicide bomber and a woman starts to panic. Thankfully it stopped but the stares still continued until somebody explained the issue.

What is more important? To decorate with food or to keep the place clean where the food is prepared? Come on!! Wake up!! When the world is toiling over food security, we are using food as a necklace. Here's some FOOD FOR THOUGHT!!

Every home in Kerala has a custom of making pazhamkanji, or fermented rice, rather than throwing away the leftover rice. The rice is soaked overnight, and mixed with salt and curd the next morning. It's paired with pickles, shallots, and kanthari mulaku.

Today I got thrown out of a #bmtc bus in #Bangalore because I had a 100 rupee note. The conductor kept shouting at me in Kannada very aggressively and the funniest part of the entire issue is that I saw him give change to a fellow passenger. @BMTC_BENGALURU
He dropped me in a place that wasn't even a bus stop. I would have been happy if he told me that I can't travel on this bus because I didn't have change with me.
