Steve Jobs explains why most people never get what they want
"I've never found anybody that didn't want to help me if I asked them for help."
"most people don't get those experiences because they never ask."
"I called up Bill Hewlett when I was 12 years old. his number was still in the phone book and he answered the phone himself."
"I said, hi, I'm Steve Jobs, I'm 12 years old, and I want to build a frequency counter, and I was wondering if you had any spare parts I could have."
"he laughed and he gave me the spare parts to build this frequency counter."
"he got me a job that summer at Hewlett Packard putting nuts and bolts together on frequency counters, and I was in heaven."
"I've never found anyone who said no or hung up the phone when I called. I just asked."
"most people never pick up the phone and call. most people never ask."
"that's what separates sometimes the people that do things from the people that just dream about them."
"you've got to act, and you've got to be willing to fail."
"if you're afraid of failing, you won't get very far."
eu não sei o que tem nesse combo… só sei que minha pele está com outro aspecto. aquele viço natural, cara de pele bem cuidada, que parece até filtro, mas é real. quem usa entende!
GET OUT OF YOUR HEAD
Allow yourself to be cringe. Talk to people. Have fun. Share your interests. Move your body. Socialize more. Learn to dance. Feel the music. Partymaxxing. Make memories. Laugh out loud. All sweaty. Tears of joy. Randomly remembering hilarious situations.
When you spend so much time in your head, not only does it become hard for you to interact with others, but it also prevents you from living fully.
Allow yourself to just exist. Just be.
Enjoy the present moment.
Since a large number of illiterate people are asking this, I will answer it for all my bois.
Humans are born with a relatively fixed number of muscle fibers. If protein is restricted during the mid-to-late fetal stages, myogenesis is stunted, and the baby is born with fewer total muscle fibers. After birth, muscles grow by increasing the size of existing fibers (hypertrophy), not by generating new ones (hyperplasia). A child born with a significantly lower baseline of muscle fibers will generally have less overall muscle mass and a lower upper limit for muscular growth throughout their life, regardless of their diet after birth.
In the long run, this leads to lower muscle mass, insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome.
In short, how muscular you will end up is mostly determined while you are in womb. Nothing much you can do about it, sadly
So if you are an Indian woman reading this, please eat some protein. Perhaps your babies might end up muscular
Somewhere in your 20s or 30s you'll get the opportunity to rebuild your life after a negative loop, heal from what broke you, live in your own space, reconnect with your discipline, and learn to love yourself again. It's very important that you see that journey through.
The greatest biceps exercise in the world is the close-grip underhand pulldown/pull-ups – heavy, full range, to absolute failure.
Nothing else comes close for building massive arms.
