This is soooo true..even I couldn't connect with him neither through the show nor the lives..like JH I really grew to love after the lives because he is just that funny and I could connect..I couldn't connect with the other CP most times they even seemed disinterested..

Okay, I need to get something off my chest too.
Before ABO Desire aired, I didn’t know any of the actors. The series was recommended to me because HX was in it and had one of the leading roles. So at first, I actually had to do some research just to figure out who was who. And honestly, in the beginning, I mostly came across posts about HX.
But personally, he didn’t impress me at all. I kept asking myself: What exactly is it about him? What makes him so special? What sets him apart from the others so much that people constantly make it seem as though he is above everyone else?
I think at some point, this idea simply became ingrained in a lot of people’s minds: HX is perfect. HX is the talented one. HX is the one who stands out. And once that kind of image has been established, it seems like everything he does is automatically seen as something special.
He could do some random shit, sit there for hours without really moving, or brush his fingers over his eyebrows for the hundredth time — and some people would probably still find something extraordinary about it. And that’s okay. If someone thinks he is exceptionally talented, they are absolutely entitled to feel that way.
But personally, I just don’t see it.
To me, he is missing something essential. Something that can’t simply be replaced by good looks, charisma, popularity, or a certain image. I miss that sense of naturalness and versatility that makes me truly connect with an actor or performer. That certain something that makes me forget I’m watching someone who is consciously trying to create a particular effect.
And that is exactly why this constant argument bothers me — that HX supposedly needs to be given more space, take on more, or be placed more prominently in the spotlight simply because he is allegedly “just that good.”
Who actually decided that this is an objective fact?
Talent isn’t a mathematical formula. Just because something is repeated a hundred times doesn’t automatically make it true. And just because someone has a large and very dedicated fanbase doesn’t mean the others are less talented, less interesting, or worth less.
What bothers me even more is the double standard. With HX, almost everything seems to be interpreted positively by default. If he doesn’t do much, he’s cool and composed. If he’s reserved, he has presence. If he does something noticeable, he’s charismatic. Meanwhile, with the others, sometimes every tiny little thing gets picked apart and judged.
At some point, that no longer feels like a fair assessment of each individual person to me. Instead, it feels like there is already a predetermined image of who is supposed to be the best, and everything afterward is interpreted in a way that reinforces that image.
And maybe that is exactly what people should try for once: actually look at the others without constantly comparing them to HX.
Because they are not extras whose purpose is to make one person look better. They have their own strengths, their own presence, their own fans, and people who spend money because of them, attend events because of them, and support the group because of them.
You don’t have to tear HX down in order to acknowledge that. And you don’t have to make him the standard by which everyone else is measured in order to be his fan.
I have absolutely no problem with someone saying, “To me, HX is the best.” That is a personal opinion, and it is completely valid.
But “To me, he is the best” should not automatically turn into “He is objectively the best, and therefore the others deserve less attention.”
And to me, that is exactly where the crucial difference lies.
If you have to diminish someone to let someone else shine then probably they're not that as good as you claim..if everyone was given equal opportunity and then he shines.. absolutely go ahead but..
