Currently in a privileged situation of being in a low risk area, with cases increasing in Conwy & Anglesey it looks like it’s only a matter of time. @lesley4wrexham we need a proactive policy to keep tb out of low risk areas. Fighting on the back foot clearly doesn’t work
Welsh Government’s bTB policy clearly isn’t working as it spreads further in to ‘low risk areas’. Rates have increased Sept2020-21 & 21-22 in Anglesey with additional disease control measures only being considered now! @WelshGovernment something needs to change.

Alarming article by @chriswalkland@britishdairying on #wales#NVZs#WaterQualityRegulations
Some very very damning stats on job losses to industry & supply chain
“It will simply crucify the Welsh Dairy Industry”
“…it is at a significant competitive disadvantage…”
The threat is real ⬇️
The Welsh Water Quality Regulations could cause a seismic shift not just in Welsh Dairy but also a knock on to our beef & sheep sectors & our associated rural businesses

@HefinR@farmermat1 Having tried both, significant saving on diesel to be made with wagon doesn’t make up for the quality lost due to not getting silage to the clamp fast enough! Depends on distance form clamp and roads used etc. But could be lifting hay by end of the day here!
