Today in Rome. As always with such visits, we have a result. Today, we have become stronger.

I met with the 🇮🇹 President and the President of the Council of Ministers @GiorgiaMeloni. I'm grateful to them for the political decisions to increase aid for 🇺🇦.

I met with Pope Francis @Pontifex. I hope this conversation will have historical consequences for Ukraine. In particular, regarding the return of 🇺🇦 children home.

Today there is also a Joint Declaration with Italy regarding Ukraine's accession to the European Union and NATO. Very correct and timely signals.
Italy absolutely clearly supported all points of the Ukrainian Peace Formula.

I am grateful to the political leadership of Italy and all Italians who help us and support Ukraine in our struggle for a European way of life.
