If there is one man who has single handedly uplifted Indian chess it is @vishy64theking. Imagine the chess scene in India in the 1980s when Vishy was growing up. There were no grandmasters. Almost no one was making a living out of chess. It required a lot of trust in your abilities to make that jump of becoming the first professional player from the country who made a living out of playing tournaments.

And Vishy not just played tournaments, he aced them. And not just aced them for a few years, he did it for over 3 decades! And the result is here for all of us to see! We have 84 grandmasters, 9 players have crossed 2700 Elo, and the most amazing thing of all - at the Candidates 2024 we will have 4 Indians taking part, maybe even 5!

At different parts of Vishy's career, he has let different skillsets shine. For eg. when he was growing up, everyone knew him as the lightning kid. Speed was his forte. When he became a world class player he came to be known for his opening preparation and his ability to wriggle out of tough positions with active counterplay. And now at this point he is known for his longevity!

Even at the age of 54 years, Vishy is ranked no.10 in the world. He played at the Global Chess League 2023, a few months ago, this year and beat some of the best players in the world that included Duda, Aronian and MVL.

Today, 11th of December 2023, is Vishy's 54th birthday. We wish the legend a very happy birthday. While Vishy has many titles and awards under his belt - 5-time World Champion, Padma Vibhushan, Arjuna Awardee - the list is endless, we regard his contribution in galvanizing an entire country like India towards the sport of chess and creating an atmosphere of excellence as his biggest contribution.

India came a long way & now able to produce most of the advanced materials for Aero Engines. The main problem is lack of Machining& Tooling of these materials into perfect products such as SCB,Discs etc. Manufacturing techs we r getting through F414 ToT may help us overcome this
