As Barcelona steps into its role as World Capital of Architecture 2026, the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia unveils a renewed academic portfolio shaped around one clear ambition: educating architects, designers, and technologists to operate where architecture, ecology, and advanced technologies converge.

Marking 25 years of experimentation in digital fabrication, robotics, bio-based materials, and AI, IAAC consolidates its master’s programmes into a future-oriented educational framework. From hands-on research in Barcelona and Valldaura to AI-driven innovation and global online learning, the new structure reflects architecture as a discipline in constant evolution.
