Take a real problem. Find the worst people connected to it. Throw around scary numbers. Ignore everything Indians contribute. Repeat it until “Indian = scammer” becomes the story.

Yes, scam call centers are a real problem. Go after the criminals.

But the viral “95% of global scam calls” claim is not a real FBI statistic. It traces back to a private scam-baiter’s estimate, not a verified global count. And the $10B figure is repeatedly thrown around without solid evidence showing that $10B of American losses came from Indian call centers.

Meanwhile, 5.5 million Indian Americans make up only ~1.5% of the U.S. population yet contribute $250–300B in federal income taxes annually. The Indian American community supports 11-12 million American jobs as well.

And then comes the “Indians are stealing the American Dream from the middle class” line.

Where is the evidence?

Indian Americans are doctors, nurses, engineers, researchers, entrepreneurs, small-business owners, teachers and taxpayers. Indian-origin CEOs of 16 Fortune 500 companies alone collectively lead businesses employing 2.7 million Americans and generating nearly $1 trillion in revenue.

Cherry-picking criminals, repeating questionable numbers and turning millions of people into an ethnic scapegoat isn’t economic analysis. It’s a global psyop designed to harm cooperation and alliances.

And voters should be asking a very simple question:

Who benefits from making an entire immigrant community the villain?

America has enough real adversaries.

For years, foreign-funded grifters have relentlessly poisoned American discourse about India and Indians turning every issue into a scandal, every Indian into a suspect, and one of America’s most naturally pro-American populations into a political punching bag.

Now look at the damage:
