I HATE getting a message saying there’s was no-one to accept a delivery, when I’ve been in the WHOLE day. Yes @FedEx I’m looking at you. If you’re not going to deliver because you’re bust, just say that!
@PaulYoungParlez here for my friend Karla's 50th celebration. She followed you to the Novotel in Stevenage in the 80s for a meet and greet #biggestfan would you make her day and give her a wave :) seat h20
Seriously @cricut. For a £350 machine to last 2 years and 10 months, be used at most 30 times, then to break through an "internal issue". The best @CricutUK can offer is a £50 voucher - very shoddy and a rather expensive doorstop (which is all its useful for now) landfill city!
If by some random chance you were the chap at @BournemouthFun Pier today, who won this toy and gave it to my son. What a truly lovely thing to do, he said "that is the kindest thing anyone has ever done".
Thank you so very much.
How can forcing a 77 year-old out of the home she's lived in all her life, be in her best interests?
For the cost of saving £s, £s which we've said we'll pay or contribute towards.
I've no idea why I'm sharing all this. Other than I'm lost.
Today marks 6 weeks since my aunt went into hospital for an outpatient appointment for overnight monitoring on her ventilator.
6 weeks.
We have a "best interests" next week, despite her saying (multiple times) that she wants to go home.
If she goes into a home she will die. Not because of any reflection on the care she'll receive, but because she'll give up. I've told the ICB/continuing healthcare team this. How can this be in her best interests?
She has had 3 infections since being in hospital.
It appears her "best interests" would be served by a nursing home according to her ICB designated person. We disagree.
Hence the "best interests " meeting.
I don't have an LPA for her because, despite her being disabled, she is
Introducing issue 11 of Film Junior magazine, the only regular print magazine for young film fans. Really proud of this, and huge thanks to everybody who's helped make it happen. https://t.co/IXYvJeBsq2
Hint @tesco when you have a queue at one of your supermarkets, the idea is not to make customers do their own check-out. Telling a disabled customer to go "down there if you're paying by card" stupidly means making them put through £151 of shopping with NO assistance. Disgraceful
@virginmedia my housebound disabled aunt has been without a TV and phoneline since yesterday. How can we find out how long this issue will take to e fixed? She is reliant on her home phone for doctors/care etc.
@virginmedia I've checked that and it says no issue, but when I call it says "we're sorry it isn't working. Engineers are working to fix the problem". Which is it?
