Wilmington Firefighters IAFF Local 1590 was honored to stand with the Delaware State Police and the Snook family on Jan. 5 in Newark to honor Corporal Matthew “Ty” Snook.

Our members served in the Honor Guard and paid their respects.

We extend our condolences following the loss of a Delaware State Police Trooper today at the Wilmington-area DMV.

Our thoughts are with the Trooper’s family, the Delaware State Police, and the Delaware State Lodge Fraternal Order of Police.

Rest in peace, Trooper.

Today, we remember and honor Lieutenant Ardythe "Ardy" Hope, who tragically passed away in 2016 after sustaining injuries while bravely responding to a structure fire on Lakeview Road on September 24, 2016. Her courage and dedication to service will never be forgotten.
