I genuinely thought Pranit More would be one of the good comedian during his BB19 stints. He used to speak so much about other contestants’ values, standards and behaviour. And the irony? The same Pranit More has now shown his own values. Now I feel, Salman Khan’s treatment of him in BB19 makes a lot more sense.

I watched a few of his clips and most of the “comedy” is just double meaning jokes, vulgar comments and cheap sexual humour. And now 370 biryani clip was beyond disgusting.

A guy proudly shared how he took a girl out, spent 370 on biryani, and when she asked him to drop her back home, he said, “Abhi biryani ka paisa wasool karunga na… mere ghar chal.”

Pranit didn’t look uncomfortable.
He didn’t stop him.
He didn’t say, “Bhai, that’s not okay.”
He didn’t move on.

He laughed.
He hyped him up.
Called him the funniest guy.
Made the audience clap for him.
Gave him some cash.
Encouraged him.

That’s what disgusted me.

People might say, “it’s just a joke.” But jokes also reflect mindsets. That’s like normalising entitlement and disrespect towards women.

Most of his jokes are cheap, misogynistic and downright disgusting. Samay Raina, Pranit More and other comedians are of same mindset, passing and laughing on such jokes.

If that guys has been suspended from his Jo, then same applies for Pranit.
