Every free thing on the internet is paid for somehow, and usually that payment is your data. Browsers included. Your searches, your clicks, your habits, quietly packaged and sold to advertisers you never met and never agreed to deal with.
@BeldexCoin built a browser that tries to break that cycle. Traffic routes through BelNet, so the usual tracking that follows you from site to site doesn't have anywhere to attach itself.
What's more interesting to me is the other side of it. Content creators usually lose most of their revenue to ad networks and middlemen sitting between them and their audience. This browser lets people pay creators directly in beldex:native if they choose to, no ad-tech company taking a cut in between.
Ad-free browsing on one side, creators actually getting paid on the other. Feels like the internet working the way it was supposed to before ads ate everything.
