If you have ulcer, toothache or diabetes, include cloves in your diet. If you don't have any of these conditions, still consider including cloves. Repost and read on
Before going to the benefits, I found it amazing that clove is called kànáfùrù in Yorùbá, Kananfari in Hausa and Kanafura in Dangbali (Ghana). How did we all agree with to call it similar names? Anyways, let's move on.
One of the best ways to use cloves is to grind it and add to your spices. They'll actually add special taste to your meals. You can also sprinkle the powder in tea or pap. You can cook the whole cloves and drink its tea. You can also just swallow the powder with water. Let's now look at the health benefits
1. ULCER
Some days ago, I wrote about how our stomach produce acid for digestion and how mucus layer protects that stomach lining from ulcer. Now, most ulcer are cause by thinning of this mucus layer. Some studies have shown that eating cloves in large amounts can thicken this mucus, which will in turn lower your your risk of getting ulcers help in healing ulcer if you already have.
2. DIABETES
If you're diabetic, eugenol in cloves can help lower your blood glucose to safe levels. In the same vein, you should be careful of taking too much so that the blood sugar will not be reduced too much. Hypoglycemia, which is when blood sugar is tii low, is as dangerous. So, you want to be moderate.
3. TOOTH ACHE
I learnt this while staying in the North before reading about its medical proof. If you have tooth ache, crush cloves and grind it to paste. Apply to the tooth. You should feel relieved in minutes. Eugenol in clove is a natural anesthetic (numbing agent) and it's the one responsible here. You may get clove oil for faster results.
They're also rich in antioxidants and so, they'll help mop up free radicals and and help prevent/reduce inflammation. Some studies also claim that they can help liver function when consumed moderately.
Finally, these are just some of the few health benefits of cloves and they're cheap compared to many drugs. APPLY MODERATION in its use and share this for others who may need it.
Tainkyu 😊
@ToheebAyomide2 Like right now ... I have 8 acres at my disposal, with a capital that looks too small for startups.

The biggest lie in Nigeria right now:
“Agriculture is the future.”
Future gịnị ?
Same scope of "Youth are leaders of tommorw"
Future where Farmers de see shege for PRESENT.
"Please, I don't want to die. Don't let me die," she pleaded, her voice trembling with the weight of the moment. "I was just on my way to deliver clothes to a customer when this happened. How much were those clothes even worth? Now, they have cost me my leg."
It is a sobering thought, one moment she was focused on her hustle, and the next, she was fighting for her life. How much was the service fee? How much was the profit? Certainly not enough to pay such a devastating price. It’s a reminder that behind every delivery and every small business, there is a human soul just trying to survive.
Let us join our hearts for her. To every woman in business and every mother across the world: please lift her up in prayer.
That she will pull through this ordeal.
May this holy month of fasting bring divine restoration and a "resurrection" of her health.
That she finds the strength to face this new reality with grace.
And to you reading this: May you never encounter calamity while on your own hustle. May your coming and going be blessed, and may you always return home in peace. Amen. 🙏
I know of a man whose wife gave birth to a child with Down syndrome in2024, in early 2025 his elder brother went down with stroke and middle of last year his wife was diagnosed of growing cancer in her kidney.
This is a man who is struggling to meet ends need and Allah has decided to test him in different and hard ways.
When I ask how he is coping with a smile his response is ALHAMDULILLAH.
May Allah not give us test that is greater than us. Ameen
HOW TO PLANT GINGER 🫚 IN NIGERIA SERIES
Final part
So we are going to be talking about harvest, disease monitoring and harvest expectations on an acre
Ginger matures in 7-9 months depending on the farmers target or customer request to the farmer
The first sign that your ginger is ready for harvest is the leaves start turning yellow and dry, when harvesting your ginger be very careful so you won’t cut the rhizomes.
Now the average yield of an acre is 10-15 tons (conservative numbers) depending on the spacing and how well managed the farm is and a Ton of fresh ginger is currently sold for 5million naira plus do your math, but ginger is not magic it’s discipline
Most farmers
• Under fertilize
• Plant poor seed
• Ignore drainage
• Harvest too early
But if you get these 4 things right i assure you that you will break the bank 😂
Now The common disease ginger usually suffer from is fungal diseases particularly BLIGHT there are other ones like leaf spot and downy mildew but the common and most dangerous one is blight
The only recommended way I use to prevent blight and other fungal diseases on my farm is by spraying a foliar fungicide after the first 4-6 weeks of planting when the ginger are shooting out,the foliar fungicide I use is called CABRIO DUO,it’s the most effective fungicide against ginger blight in my own opinion
But there is a lot of fakes out there so be very careful and after the first spraying on the 6th week I then spray regularly every 14 days whenever the weather is humid or rainy,I use it as preventive spray rather than cure.
So with all this information you are fully equipped with enough info to start your own ginger farm
If you have any other questions don’t hesitate to comment I will answer all questions in the comment
And if you need quality ginger seeds and mentorship my DM is open
I experienced something scary last night inside the Kaaba.
Yesterday, after ṣalāt ishāʾ, I was looking for a good spot inside the Masjid al-Ḥarām to pray my tarāwīḥ. The crowd was heavy because many people were performing their umrah at night, so finding space was somehow difficult. I decided to join the flow of people doing ṭawāf, hoping I would later find a place to stand and pray. As I walked, I found myself right behind a Yoruba sister.
She was cursing someone, not quietly, not casually, serious curses, in deep Yoruba expressions. I was honestly terrified listening to it. From what she was saying, I understood that someone had lied against her, and she had been unable to clear her name.
According to her words, the lie had brought her public humiliation and shame amongst the family.
She said in Yoruba, and I quote:
“Ọlọ́run w’ọlá pé mi ò ṣe nkan tí wọn pa irọ rẹ mọ́ mi yìí, w’ọlá pé irọ́ yìí sọ mí di ẹni yẹyẹ ninu family. Ọlọ́run bá mi fi (she mentioned the person’s name and her mother’s) sínú ìdàmú àti ìbànújẹ tí kò ní bọ n bẹ ayafi tó bá jẹ́wọ́ fún ẹgbọn mi pé irọ́ lóhun pa mọ́ mi.”
Translation “Allah, consider the fact that I never did what she said I did, consider the fact that this lies has brought me shame amongst the family, Allah, help me to put (she mentioned the person’s name and her mother’s) into struggle and sadness that she’ll never be able to free from except she confess to my elder brother that everything she said about me was lies”.
I never thought in my life I would see someone travel all the way from Nigeria only to pour curses on another person in the holiest place on earth.
And honestly, I was scared.
The Prophet ﷺ warned us to be careful about the supplication of someone who has been oppressed, because there is no barrier between that prayer and Allah. Even if she had made that supplication anywhere else, Allah could answer it. Now imagine saying it in front of the Kaʿbah.
I walked behind her for about a minute, and wallāhi, she did not say anything else, she only kept repeating the curse over and over again, that I had to slow a bit so she could move farther away from me and I would stop hearing her.
I could only hope and pray that the person she was cursing go back to the family and confess she lied, I could only hope.
May Allah help us to be fair and just with people, may Allah not make us source of sadness for people in an unjust way.
Amin.
@SirJarus My paternal grand uncle built his way before then, and the building still stands. The amazing part is that it was moulded with clay and something that looked like the trunk of coconut trees used for decking. In fact, there's a well in front of the building.
Dangote Refinery: Nigerians Can Buy Shares in 5 Months - Dangote
NNPC holds about 7.25% shares in Dangote Refinery, even more than Elon Musk's stake in Tesla. Nigerians will be able to buy shares in the refinery individually in about 4-5 months and earn dividends in naira or dollars.
