Initiative for Access to Health & Youth Development In conjunction with MSMTG Network, Nigeria held a mental health capacity building workshop with the theme “Internalized Homophobia, Transphobia and Its Impact on Mental Health” for the MSM & TG persons in Ibadan, Oyo State.

During the session
He outlined the security concerns of TG person(s) and how they can overcome them, including channels of reporting whenever their rights are been unjustly treated.
The session was interactive, as participants shared their experiences as it relates to their safety and security,
and actions they took in different unpleasant situations.
In conclusion, Mr Asuni Oluwafemi also stated the importance of community based organizations to shun unhealthy competition, as their cooperation across organizations will help mitigate against exposing community members
Yesterday, our Executive Director, Mr Asuni Oluwafemi facilitated a Safety & Security workshop for the TG community in Oyo State.
He emphasized the fact that safety start from the individual, before any other supportive system, & equally advised capacity building of Individuals
