Seems to be standard now for ESB Networks to give restore time online of well over a day away, which it won't be. Not helpful at all & may cause unnecessary worry to some that believe it. Would be better to put 'unknown' to cover themselves if they must. Very poor. @ESBNetworks

@Julidy1_FLO When in Orkney & Shetland face to face advice was useful even though I'd preplanned. In Lerwick I was told the best times for ferries to Yell & Unst based on current weather & they booked me in on them too. I'd have got there myself online but not the best way. This is a mistake.

New arrivals. 2 new hens - a Cuckoo Maran (grey) called Bridget and a Dexel (reddish) called Chicky Minaj. Also 2 new white ducks - Doja Duck and Moby Duck. They supervised me putting a new table together today (kind of) after Storm Isha destroyed the last one.

@Bill_Linnane @gloverstweets Harris have released a whisky at last...don't know how it tastes but the distillery setting is stunning (certainly if you had wings) ... a book on island distilleries and sailing has been done though won't have all the new ones .... a good read though I'm no sailor

@Bill_Linnane Feis Ile has a lot of involvement from the distilleries now but wasn't a whisky festival to begin with and is more than that still. Interesting how it is perceived though in the BBC headline.
