Day 1 of First Green event done and dusted.
Great participation and feedback from the primary school kids so far. Onto Day 2 tomorrow. @prestonfieldgc@JennyBigga@BIGGALtd
On course drainage doing an unbelievable job during this wet winter, ensuring main greens and less restrictions since recent drainage upgrades.
Just need to work out how to bottle it now.
Once again the troops have performed above expectations this past year and here's just a small video to highlight their dedication. Also an ideal opportunity to have a stone cold classic from my youth playing in the background.

The recovery from the greens maintenance has been slower than had been hoped but the recent nutrition applications and better temperatures have started to move things along.
Grass tillering has begun and surfaces thickening up nicely.
Some jobs on the practise area completed today. Bunker filled with sand and ready for play and also finished off the path built through the trees to the practise tees and nets
Even had a very special guest @PrestonfieldPr2 visit for the grand opening.
Last of the storm damage finally tidied up today.
Might as well take a positive out of all the damage by creating logs piles to give some of the local biodiversity a place to live.
A quick shift this morning to protect as much course furniture as possible before the storm really hits.
Hoping that there is not too much damage to the course tomorrow morning, but I have the feeling that we are going to lose a good few trees.
